The Lightning Thief
Team: Madelyn Cruz, Augustus Soto, Andy Lin, Ian Wong, Colby Johansson, and Annette Tran
Project Description: LAES students built and animated a 3D model of a minotaur and used motion caputre to create the movements of Talia to be included as a projection in the Cal Poly Theater and Dance's production of The Lightning Thief based off of Rick Riordan's New York Times best-seller. LAES students worked on scripts and storyboards to design an immersive performance in collaboration with students in Theater & Dance.
